in every breath, in every stillness.

in every idea, in every decision.

my shadow, my constellation?

The city flickers behind the glass,
each window holding someone’s ache.
I trace your voice through half-remembered songs,
between what was said, and what we meant.

Was it love, or a mirage of rest,
that made the night so gentle?
How the stars rehearsed our silence,
as if they too had known restraint.
